Who are the personal training sessions suitable for?
My personal training sessions are suitable for adults of all ages and will be tailored to suit your own fitness level.
How does the free consultation work?
Before starting One-to-One or Couples & Friends Personal Training, I offer a free half-hour, face to face consultation to discuss the following:
What a typical training session will contain and how it will run.
Answering any questions and addressing any concerns you may have.
What you'd like to achieve from your training - goals and aspirations.
Then, if you're happy to start training sessions with me...
we'll complete a Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (Par-Q) & Health Declaration and book your first session(s).
What is a Par-Q & Health Declaration?
A Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (Par-Q) & Health Declaration is a form to ensure it is safe and suitable for you to begin training with me.
Where will the training sessions be held?
Group Exercise is currently based at an indoor venue near Climping. Further details will be provided after booking your space.
One-to-One and Couples & Friends Personal Training can be run wherever is most convenient for you. I can come to you, in which case, the preferable location might be your home or garden where there is sufficient space to move freely whilst exercising.
How many people can book onto a friends personal training session?
This depends primarily on the space available to move freely and safely whilst exercising. The maximum is four people - see the Booking & Prices page for more information.
How long will each personal training session be?
The training sessions are an hour long and will be tailored to suit your needs and goals.
How do I pay for one-to-one personal training sessions?
For One-to-One Personal Training, I find it's simpler to work on a pay-as-you-go basis, either by bank transfer or cash prior to each session.
If you find it more convenient to pay up-front (by bank transfer or cash) for a pack of training sessions that you've booked, that can also be arranged, though please note that the these will need to be completed within an agreed time-frame.
How do I pay for group exercise sessions?
I find it's best to work on a pay-as-you-go basis, by cash at the start of each training session is the simplest option.
If you would like to book your space for a future training session, you may purchase a pack of four sessions and payment would be taken up-front (by cash) - see the Booking & Prices page for more information.
For group exercise do I need to use my pack of four within a time-frame?
Yes, if you have purchased a pack of four training sessions for Group Exercise please note that this will need to be completed within the next four sessions from the date of purchase, therefore you will automatically be booked onto the next four sessions.
What is your cancellation policy for group exercise sessions?
I find it's best to work on a pay-as-you-go basis, by cash at the start of each training session is the simplest option, therefore you would not need to pay until you arrive.
If you would like to book your space for a future training session, you may purchase a pack of four sessions and payment would be taken up-front (by cash) - see the Booking & Prices page for more information. What is your cancellation policy for one-to-one personal training sessions?
One-to-One Personal Training can be purchased individually or as a pack (non-refundable). Couples and Friends Personal Training is also available - see the Booking & Prices page for more information. If purchasing a pack of training sessions please note that these will need to be completed within an agreed time-frame.
If you need to cancel a training session, provided I am notified the day before, there will be no charge and the session can be rearranged. If the training session is cancelled on the day, this will be non-refundable and a full session will be deducted from your pack. To see and feel the best results it is advised to be as consistent as possible.
